How to use this schedule
- Initial each task on the day it is done — an initial is a name an inspector can ask about.
- The weekly and monthly rows are the ones paper rotas lose: put them on specific days.
- Keep completed sheets with your food safety records.

When to use this sheet
Use this for a weekly rota of kitchen cleaning tasks with a frequency and a daily initial.
How to complete it
Initial a task on the day it is done. The pre-filled rows are examples you can edit. The note on the sheet says clean then disinfect, and disinfectants should meet the standard on the GOV.UK cleaning page (BS EN 1276 or BS EN 13697).
What this does not replace
It does not replace a disinfectant contact time, a record of a one-off failure, or proof that a surface was clean on a day with no initial.
